Μετά τη συμπλήρωση σχεδόν δέκα χρόνων ενασχόλησης με τη Χημεία, παρατηρήσαμε ότι στη χώρα μας η εξέλιξη σε σχέση με την ενημέρωση των Χημικών μέσω του διαδικτύου είναι σχεδόν ελλιπής. Έτσι ξεκίνησε από κάποιους Χημικούς και λάτρεις του διαδικτύου (εμάς!!!), μια προσπάθεια να δημιουργηθεί ένας χώρος, στον οποίο άνθρωποι που έχουν κάποια σχεση με τη χημεία, άνθρωποι που αγαπάνε τη χημεία ή απλά την ανέχονται (κακώς!!!), να μπορούν να βρεθούν, να ανταλλάξουν απόψεις, να ενημερωθούν και κυρίως να κάνουν απλά παρεά, πάντα με αξιοπρέπεια και μερικές φορές και με σάτιρα!
Η προσπάθεια μας είναι ομολογουμένως ερασιτεχνική, αλλά γίνεται με πολύ αγάπη (για τη Χημεία) και μεράκι και ελπίζουμε και με τη βοήθεια σας να φτιάξουμε έναν ιστότοπο ο οποίος θα μπορεί να καλύπτει αν όχι όλες, τις περισσότερες τουλάχιστον ανάγκες του σύγχρονου Χημικού!
